Mission Statement
This non-profit physician authored website was made to help
people get information on acne and its treatment based on The
latest medical literature. The author has no affiliation with any
pharmaceutical companies or any acne related products. Here you
will get nothing, but The 101 on acne.
You may wonder why I decided to start this website. I first got The
idea when I wanted to give my patients information about acne.
Today most people use The Internet so i started there. My search
for information led me to sites which either had an agenda of
promoting a product or was based on observational rather than
medical information. Surprisingly, i found it difficult if not
impossible to find good, accurate usable information to give to
patients. If as a physician I was having such a hard time finding
good information I could only imagine The difficulty patients were
having. Thus The idea for this website was born. I decided to
make it available to everyone at no cost. A place where people
can come by to get The 101.
